The Berndt Group seeks Freelance Production Specialists
The Berndt Group is seeking talented freelance Production Specialists to assist a talented 5-person design team that produces award winning web site designs. We are looking for someone that is reliable and can commit to small and large projects consistently as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Valid HTML/CSS Template creation
- Content integration from text to Web
- Maintenance of existing sites – this may include adding a navigation item, a new image, new content, etc.
- Ability to quickly figure out how a site is put together, and make the appropriate changes
- Debugging front end code
- Wireframe and mockup review to catch potential issues before site build begins
- Thorough process of QA, addressing fixes logged by the design, technical, and account management departments
- Staying on top of current internet trends
Applicants must have a strong background in:
- Web Standards based template production in a fast-paced environment
- Rendering differences between browsers
- HTML
- CSS
- Unobtrusive Javascript – enough to hook together basic widgets and effects; jQuery experience is a plus
